Rocna anchors: winning tests, and the trust of real sailors
Rocna anchors go from strength to strength. Magazine test results and (more importantly) customers keep telling us how good the Rocna is. In fact we decided to distribute Rocna anchors because the market kept asking us for them.

What makes Rocna so good?
The secret is ingenious patented geometry and first rate materials. Together, this gives us the confidence to guarantee your Rocna for life.
The anchor is designed to set straight away, and dig deeper when pulled. Even if it lands the wrong way up, the roll bar and setting skids combine to force the anchor down into the seabed.
Once set, the large concave blade keeps it that way. The blade is up to 50% larger than competitors of the same weight. With an anglular design applying 33% of the anchor's weight to the sharp chisel tip, you have pretty much the perfect anchor.
For those that want something special, Rocna is available in 2205 grade stainless steel.
316 grade stainless, suitable for many marine applications, won't do for Rocna. It doesn't have the tensile strength for an anchor with RINA's Super High Holding Power designation.
Duplex steels like 2205 have improved strength over austenitic stainless steels like 316 and also improved resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion and stress corrosion cracking. This is very important for anchors, as crevice corrosion is very hard to see, but fatal in tough conditions.
That's why Rocna uses 2205 for their stainless anchors.
